People and daily life in Thailand

The pictures below have been taken around the country. Even on a well regulated visit to mainly historical and cultural sites, one will have opportunity to see people going about their daily business.

Various forms of farming abound, as the majority of Thais still work on the land. If possible, it is quite interesting when visiting the country, to stroll around some small villages, especially in the north and north-eastern parts of the country. For this purpose, it is best however to travel on your own.

Most pictures below were taken in Chiang Rai and Chiang Mai provinces in Northern Thailand.
